Local Jewelry Designer Announces Secret Valentine Giveaway
January 15, 2010 – Looking for something special for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day? Still paying the bills from the holidays? Jewelry designer Lorraine Baratta may have the answer for you.
The designer, known for her line of fashion jewelry, has planned a Secret Valentine Giveaway in fourteen different towns throughout New Jersey in honor of her line’s fifth anniversary. Each giveaway (a beautiful piece of custom jewelry designed especially for Valentine’s Day) will be “waiting” at a different establishment in Allendale, Basking Ridge, Bedminster, Bernardsville, Englewood, Franklin Lakes, Montvale, Ocean City, Paramus, Park Ridge, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Upper Saddle River and Wyckoff. The giveaway will begin on January 31st and end on February 13th. Each piece will be presented in a pink frosted bag perfect for gifting.
Lorraine Baratta’s Signature Collections are unique hand-crafted pieces, available at private and public trunk shows and events. These designs, worn by famous personalities such as Tyra Banks and featured in magazines such as Essence and 201, are also showcased and available on her website, www.lorrainebaratta.com. She also often participates in events that help raise funds for charitable organizations, offering a portion of sales from a trunk show to the charity. A philanthropist herself, each year, she donates a portion of sales from her special awareness collection called the Caring Coins™ to charities including AIDS.org, Healthy Child, Healthy World and the National Coalition of Women with Heart Disease.
Baratta explained, “Each town will have just one gift at one secret location. The establishment will give the gift to the first male customer who comes in and says, “I am your Secret Valentine.” So a person going about his normal business can end up with a fabulous Valentine’s gift at no cost! If people visit the site, they can easily find information that will lead them to their Secret Valentine Giveaway!”
Inside each gift bag will be a note from the designer asking the recipient to e mail her at lorrainebaratta@lorrainebaratta.com to tell her where the winner received the secret gift and what his special someone thought of it.
Baratta added, “This is a very special celebration of the fifth anniversary of my line. I have such a passion for what I do. I thought the best way to celebrate my success is by sharing some of my favorite pieces with the community.”
