Lorraine's inspiration for designing and creating this collection came from many different influences. One of the influences is her daughter who is very caring in many ways. She is the founder of Kidz4Kidz since 2002, a group that raise funds for many different children charities. Lorraine's husband for all the on-going love and support he continues to provide her. The influence to use coins came from a very good friend. Lorraine also got inspired by Leonardo Di Caprio and Oprah Winfrey, on a very special segment with Leonardo as the special guest regarding Global Warming. “When you see a very young person express such a need to change the way we live to protect us from what could be a horrible disaster, I felt so inspired,” explained Lorraine. “What we put into our universe, we get back…good or bad.”

The collection features coin-shaped charms in gold or silver, representative of eight (8) causes/issues. Baratta is donating a portion of sales from the Collection to the charities associated with the coin designs.
